Web poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players are given 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes directly to the house. After the bet is the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including an amount in accordance with the original bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out chips equal to your bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
